I loved the Perth Raw Foodies juice cleanse.
I have been back at Beluga full time for the past two weeks and between juggling late nights, kids and blogging, you could say that I have been a little weary……or lets be honest, just plain exhausted really.
Lux was sick the second night of the cleanse so we were up every 2 hours. That being said, I could not believe how much energy I had!
Three days was just enough for me. Not too little and not too long.
The juices was absolutely delicious and drinking these gorgeous drinks packed pull of vitamins, minerals and calories every two hours made sure that I never got hungry.
Admittedly I did top up with food as I’m still breastfeeding but even then I was full after a small meal.
I want to clarify something with you all. When considering the cleanse whilst breastfeeding I was advised that it would be absolutely fine in MY circumstance and with this particular cleanse.
My baby Van is over 6 months old and on 3 full meals per day. I am a naturally healthy person so my body wasn’t going to go through a cleansing shock of sorts. The juices are packed with the perfect amount of nutrients so your body will actually thrive and get rid of built up toxins. I was not doing the cleanse for weight loss and I was advised to not do strenuous exercise during the cleanse.
I am not recommending pregnant or breastfeeding mothers do a juice cleanse but if you are interested and think your circumstances would warrant a cleanse that is both good for you and your baby then seek professional advice.
I am now a juice cleanse junkie and have pencilled one in for 3 months time (maybe sooner if Christmas gets hold of me).
My juice cleanse was through Perth Raw Foodies. What a great gift to give your spouse for after the Christmas festivities!
Beautiful, fresh, yummy juices delivered right to your door.
