I have been adding this superfood to EVERYTHING lately.
Michelle Nazaroff from Nazafit got Andrew onto it for a bit of a lift in the last year of his playing career. I never really thought to use it back then but after doing some research this superfood has managed to creep it’s way into many facets of my indulgent eating life.
I have always been a fan of so called ‘superfoods” and try to sneak them whenever I can. Superfood seems to be the buzzword around town at the moment and access to these superfoods has never been easier.
Mila is so versatile, I have been able to add it in everywhere. Mum even adds it to her coffee when she needs an extra pick me up.
Mila is a blend of the highest quality chia seed crop which is suppose to maximise the seeds nutrient density. Mila is super rich in protein, fibre, calcium and omega 3’s (8 times more than salmon) which are all essential in our everyday diet for health, wellbeing and vitality (amongst a million other things).
My Mum has been taking Mila everyday for about 3 months now. She has noticed a huge improvement in her joint pain, energy and is getting better sleep at night.
I add Mila to my favourite homemade breakfast (post to come), porridge, smoothies, juice’s, yogurt, protein balls, you get the drift. A scoop of Mila in coconut water is my favourite super quick energy boost, perfect for the 3pm munchies.
I try and add Mila to the kid’s food whenever I can, they don’t have a clue! There’s nothing like giving your kids a massive boost of potent omega 3’s. It’s THE most important nutrient kids need for brain function and development. It also has 6 times more calcium than milk which was a massive selling point for me as all of my kids have had little to no bottles.
