Perth’s Night Noodle Markets
You’ll be sorry if you miss it!
I am so proud of Perth. We are really stepping it up in the events stakes. No longer are we left out over the other side of the country to swoon and ponder on the delights offered to our Eastern States friends. Thanks to events like these, we are putting on our own show.
Last week I attended the launch of the first ever Night Noodle Markets in Northbridge. The cultural centre came alive and was transformed into three Asian hawkers style pop-up markets with stalls that were being hosted by some of Perth’s best Asian restaurants.
Think Print Hall’s Apple Daily Bar & Eating House, Low Key Chow House and newcomers such as Lucky Chan’s Laundry and Noodle Bar. Arghh!! Heaven.
When I heard that one of my all time favorite foodies Gail Williams was the creative director I knew her passion for food and for Perth would guarantee that this was a summer festival not to be missed.
We attended the Night Noodle markets for the second time with the kids on Monday night and it was just as fabulous. I had all these intentions of take some incredible family pics for you but instead I spent the whole night running around after three young and extremely sociable kids.
Darting back and forth for bites of pork buns, crispy chicken, beef curry and ramen noodles isn’t usually my idea of a nice enjoyable dinner but I’ll take what I can get at the moment.
The Night Noodle Markets are only open until the 29th of March so if you get a chance you absolutely have to head into Northbridge and eat and drink your way through the Cultural Center. You will love it.
Have you been? What was your favorite dish??
