The best kids birthday party ever
with Sweet Dreams and Goodnight
Over here in the Embley house we have all just taken a breather from ‘The Festival of Autumn’. An extra long weekend full of friends, family and fabulous celebrations dedicated to Autumn’s seventh birthday.
This year we decided to throw Autumn a small (ish) birthday party and we thought a slumber party for a seven year old was the perfect way to do it. Now, if you know me well you will know that I’m not much for huge big pre-organised children’s parties. I’m the kind of mum that seems to pull off the text invite, usually no more than 24 to 48 hours before the big event and cross my fingers that I could pull it off. 6 years and 3 kids later and that tactic worked a treat! This year, it was time to bring in the big guns.
Sweet Dreams and Goodnight, an absolute godsend! It may have looked like I threw the slumber party of the year but here’s my little secret….. it was all done for me….
The tents, the theme, the decorations and all of the activities were organised and set up the day of the slumber party. The BEST part was seeing Autumn’s face when she walked into the house after school. Absolutely priceless!
The girls decorated their own pillowcases, gave each other pedicures, made bracelets, and even had their own photo-booth set up. It was honestly one of the best and easiest party’s I have thrown (or not thrown).
Sweet Dreams and Goodnight have a range of slumber party options. They cater for boys and girls of various ages. They have a variety of tent sizes, themes and activities to suit your party throwing style.
I’m SO wrapped with Sweet Dreams and Goodnight, Lux has already chosen the pirate theme for his next birthday party.
