Segment 2 for the Cancer Council’s Ultimate Lifestyle Lottery. (Segment 1 here).
Today I chat with Cancer Council ambassador Cassidy Gangell. Both herself and her brother were diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma within 10 weeks of each other. Two hospitals, two different treatments, two lots of everything and not to mention that they lived 406km out of Perth. I just can’t fathom it.
Cassidy tells us the huge role the Cancer Council played in making sure that both her and her family were looked after in every way possibly. From relocation to support and to making this young 19 year old feel like a woman by providing her with a wig. They really do an amazing job of helping to support in every way they possibly can.
Here is her story and how you can help the Cancer Council support anyone living with or effected by cancer.
Cancer Council Western Australia has launched its first ever ‘Ultimate Lifestyle Lottery’ with the major prize of a stunning fully furnished $1.59 million penthouse apartment at Taskers in North Fremantle PLUS a BMW X1 and $20,000 cash.
Every $100 ticket purchased has a 1 in 15 chance of winning one of the 6,670 prizes on offer, including this amazing penthouse. Yeeha!!!!
The proceeds of the lottery allows the Cancer Council to continue to grow their services so they can be there for all West Australians effected by cancer at every step of their cancer journey.
