How to throw a Frozen party for under $200.
Details are thought about and followed through from top to bottom. The theme takes on this magical place where the kids can’t help but get lost in the surroundings.
Her latest was an absolute cracker and she has kindly allowed me to post about it.
The best part of her incredible party skills is that she managed to buy all of the decorations, including the kids outfits for under $200!!
Anyone who doesn’t live under a rock has heard of the Disney movie Frozen and with my kids going mental for it, the excitement at receiving an invitation to Zara’s Frozen party was unbearable. Waves of excitement would whip through the Embley household every time they passed the fridge.
As we walked in the soundtrack was belting out in the background and mini Elsa, Ana and Olov’s were in abundance.
One of the activities for the kids was that they got to make their own snowmen. Such a great idea! Alicia made white playdough and purchased all of the snowmen decorations from the craft section at the $2 shop. This is also where she found snowflake stickers to stick on the juice boxes.
The cake was made up of an ice-cream layer on the bottom and chocolate sponge cake on top. I love this idea as when the time came to serve the cake all of the kids were given a scoop of the ice-cream layer in a cone. No plates to clean up!
The ice-cream was set in a large saucepan and the top layer was ready made chocolate sponge purchased at Coles. Alicia iced the cake with a mixture of whipped cream and icing sugar. The decorations were blue sugar crystals and white chocolate chards made from white melting chocolate all found at Coles.
Other Frozen party food included blue fairy bread, marshmellows topped with blue icing sugar and blue jelly cups.
I don’t have a picture from you but for the party favours, Alicia made these gorgeous white chocolate lollypops with blue sprinkles.
Leash, we were so impressed and had so much fun, thank you for letting us share in your secrets to a fabulous Frozen party.
What’s one of the best themed kids parties you have been to?
Van and Lux’s birthday’s are just around the corner so I would love to hear your ideas.
