If you have been following my Instagram account or Right as Rayne for a while you may have noticed that my daughter Autumn is a real girlie girl. She loves clothes, shoes, makeup, jewellery and generally anything pink and sparkly. She has her own style and will only wear clothes she loves.
For a couple of years my head has been telling me to try and keep her away from these adult things but really, why should I? I mean, golf is an adult sport, do I keep Lux away from the thing he loves the most?!
So this is me proceeding with caution, allowing Autumn to explore the things she loves with supervision and boundaries.
With the weather getting cooler and the kids growing at extraordinary rates it’s that time of year when we need to update the kidlets wardrobe. I haven’t been able to shop for Autumn in at least a year so I thought it was fitting that I take her with me.
I decided to check out the new Cotton On Kids in the Karrinyup Shopping Centre. The old store has nearly doubled in size which makes it easy to get the pram through (finally). It was large, with a great selection of baby, boy’s and girls clothes and always at reasonable prices. I really think the quality has been getting better over the years as I can pass down the kids clothes, I couldn’t do that with Autumn’s baby clothes. The only thing I was peeved about is that Cotton On Kids no longer make little boys undies. Blah, they were my fav.
Autumn was allowed to pick out 3 outfits and for a total of $68 I think we both did extremely well.
NB: They were having 30% off the day we went shopping
What’s your favourite kids clothing brand and why?
