My new year was a truly phenomenal, life changing, crazy event. I managed to make it until about 10.45pm where I found myself putting my very tired body to bed. I actually got a good night sleep. Happy new year to me!
New years day we attended Cuban Club. What an event! We had an absolute ball. I am always cautious of these big day events as packed crowds and big lines really don’t float my boat. It was one of the best run events I had been to. Plenty of food, no lines for drinks, more than enough toilets and space to roam, not to mention DJ Yoda was insane!
One of the things I love about heading out on the town is being able to pick an appropriate outfit.
Having spent crazy amounts of money over Christmas I decided to enlist the help of stylist extraordinaire Greer Deburgh (Styled by G) to dress me for the event.
Greer is a stylist who has her own business, Share My Closet. She purchases top end designer clothes and makes them available to hire at a fraction of the cost.
I immediately fell in love with the concept. In 2012 I had 14 weddings, not to mention the hens days! All I can say is, where were you then Greer!
For Cuban Club I hired the Camilla & Marc Venice of Gold dress. We paired it with some extremely comfy Senso Yves from Style Mecca, my brand new Clover Accessories clutch, Carly Paiker gold cuff and skull cuff and and the fabulous Jessie from Me Style did her usual magic with my hair.
Share My Closet has an abundance of outfit options for your next function. Greer makes available all of the latest collections straight off the runway. It’s the pictures we all see on Instagram wishing we could get our hands on ‘that’ look. I can’t wait to go back and pick out an amazing piece for my next event.
Well done Greer on a fabulous business.
