Confession. I like shopping but I don’t really love it. I’m the sort of girl that loves to stand in a change room and have clothes strewn at me by the stylist either with me or in the shop. So when I was asked to be part of the Bloggers Be Styled session at Claremont Quarter I couldn’t get in fast enough.
The best part?! One of my favourite stylist’s and personal friend Andrea was to style me.
Andrea has this effortless way of dressing. She always looks chic, edgy and ever so classy. Andrea prides herself on being a stylist for UnModels. Real everyday women and men looking for a complete wardrobe overhaul, a few pieces to add to an already bustling collection or her absolute favourite is being able to change her clients lives by helping build confidence through feeling great in the clothes they wear.
We started our session by having a coffee and a chat at Beluga restaurant. This is where Andrea really takes the time to get to know her client and find out what they would like to get out of the session. As you can see I arrived very casual and with little makeup. Although I have been styled before I was still a little nervous as it’s hard to know if the stylist is going to go all wacky on you pulling crazy pieces that you would never actually wear and make you spend thousands of dollars. As soon as I saw Andrea I relaxed and this overwhelming excitement came over me. Shopping with a stylist. Yay!!!!
We wanted to try three completely different looks all at different price points. Style doesn’t have to come with a massive price tag. You can mix and match the right pieces to suit any budget.
From Classic/Luxe Glam high end Taylored pieces at Carla Zampatti to Edgy Cool Fun at Sass & Bide, we then ended with everyday on trend affordable Streetstyle at Sportsgirl. Here is our styling story….
Next stop for us! A massive wardrobe overhaul, if you’re up for the challenge Andrea….
