Floral Crowns are BIG. From editorials, engagements, weddings, races and newborn photo shoots, the floral crown trend is injecting natural art and life onto the streets of the world.
I was lucky enough to meet the delightful Tali of Twigged. She is this gorgeous little lady who absolutely exudes nothing but love and passion for beautiful flowers. Tali is the florist, owner/operator of Twigged in Mount Lawley and she is also an expert in making the hottest new spring trend, the floral crown.
You will see Twigged by Tali’s design’s on the runway through the Perth Fashion Festival this year.
Tali says “floral is always huge in spring but it’s big and bold this year. We will see the monochrome trend extend onto the runway through the floral crown and look out for a pop of colour”.
With the Spring Carnival just around the corner we are seeing the floral crown as a perfect accompaniment to your day at the races.
You don’t have to be a super model on the runway to get your own piece of the hottest trend. You can get this look anyway you like, statement, subtle, however you envisage being able to rock this look.
Here’s how you can.
Twigged by Tali has teamed up with Barbara Mordoni to offer a fresh, creative and fun way to spend time with your girlfriends. Barbara is THE expert in makeup artistry and will guide you through a full ‘how to’ makeup lesson as well as teach you how to achive the current spring summer trends. Tali will then take you through a lesson on how to make the most beautiful floral crowns and other floral designs to match your new look.
The full class runs for about 3 hours and is a fabulous option for hens’ day’s, afternoon tea’s, birthday’s or any occasion that you think it would be great to get the girls together.
Tali says “once you start wiring your first floral crown the options are endless”.
In groups of 6 to 8 people, the full makeup and crown lesson cost’s $145 per person. A very cost effective way to learn how to do your own makeup and millinery for the races this season.
Tali’s tips for your personalised floral crown would be to “have fun with it, be free spirited and work your crown so you feel comfortable and keep it simple”.
Twigged by Tali specialises in corporate events, weddings and commercial photo shoots.
Twigged by Tali is offering one lucky lady the chance to win a lesson with Tali to make their very own floral crown / millinery to compliment their look for your next spring event.
There are two personalised crowns up for grabs for all Rayne Embley readers. Make sure you are signed up to the newsletter!
Winner will be announced Monday 16th September.
