My daughter haaates getting her hair brushed. From a very young age, just to put a clip in her hair was like a circus. Distract, clip, big song and dance for further distraction and in then less than 2 minutes it was ripped out and thrown on the floor.
As a kid I loved having my hair brushed. I would pay my sister $1 just to play with my hair, not Autumn. The amount of massive feuds we have encountered just to get a comb through is countless.
I’m not going to lie, she still hates having her hair done but I wanted to share with you the little gift from the gods that has cut the tantrums by at least 70%.
Introducing the Tangle Teezer. The soft plastic bristles and large surface area glide over the hair and detangle it at the same time.
It’s perfect for all hair types, especially the gorgeous frizzy curls that none of my kids have but as a mother I can appreciate how hard it would be to keep that kind of hair tangle free. The Tangle Teezer was perfect for brushing out the Bali plaits too.
Ladies, it’s the only brush for us too. No hair ripping or stretching especially when your hair is wet. This handy little contraption is great for a little tease at the roots to get that volume and is apparently great for hair extensions too.
The Tangle Teezer is only $35 and is worth every penny.
You can purchase the Tangle Teezer here.
Do you already use the Tangle Teezer? Does your child hate getting their hair done? I would love to hear from you below.
