This next Rayne TV segment is close to my heart. I have had a love affair with the Kimberley region since being the Ord Valley Muster ambassador in 2015. For years my best friend had been begging me to come and visit but I just never quite made it. After the Muster, Kununurra captured my heart.
There’s something about the Kimberley that’s quite intoxicating, it’s probably the most unique part of Australia and offers everything from amazing rugged terrain to rainforests with hot springs. It’s wild and beautiful and there’s not many people that could resist its charms.
The Kimberley region is home to the world’s primary source of rare pink diamonds. Other mines around the world have produced diamonds in a pink colour but none have the intensity that the Pink Argyle Diamond has to offer. The iconic rare pink diamond is iconic to the Kimberley region, Kimberley Fine Diamonds has been their largest distributer for many years.
